Foundations of Strength Training Class – Bodyweight Exercises (Beginner Friendly)

January 18 @ 1:00 pm 2:00 pm

Come learn strength training fundamentals from fellow Adams Station resident and certified personal trainer Madison Taggart!
•Who: Open to all Adams Station residents (RSVP encouraged)
-No exercise experience required. Please arrive a few minutes early if you have any injuries or medical conditions, you’d like to discuss with Madison beforehand.
•What: Functional fitness exercises
-Foundational movements for feeling good in your everyday life, aging gracefully, and counteracting the effects of hours spent sitting / using phones and computers
•When: Sunday January 18th, 1 – 2pm (please arrive on time!)
•Where: Adams Station Clubhouse
•Why: Learn how to tap into the many benefits of strength training, including:
-Increased muscle mass and joint stability for healthy aging
-Increased metabolism for improved weight management
-Improved mental health and sleep
-Decreased risk of chronic diseases
Come ready to exercise, as this hour-long class will be highly interactive with plenty of opportunities to practice the skills of strength training under Madison’s guidance. You will leave empowered to make strength training a regular part of your routine at home or at the gym.
